# Share context across workspaces

> Compose pinned sources without duplicating policies or bypassing access.

A context set combines selected sources from authorized scopes or workspaces.
For example, a support runtime can combine a shared company policy with its
own support instructions.

Use a set when you need composition. Use an ordinary context package when all
files share an owner and release together.

## Resolve before running

1. List sets with `GET /v1/context-sets`.
2. Select the intended set by ID.
3. Resolve it with `GET /v1/context-sets/{setId}/resolve`.
4. Retain the returned source revisions with your agent run.

See the API reference for the exact source and mount fields. Do not manufacture
a resolution by combining independently fetched moving environment labels.

## Sharing is not permission inheritance

The caller needs access to the set and the required sources. Each resolution
checks source authorization. If a source is denied, do not silently substitute
an empty document or try another organization's credentials.
